Bentonite clay (natural clay from volcanic ash) has been used for thousands of years to support skin health, reduce inflammation, support digestive health, and detoxification. Bentonite clay is beneficial because it absorbs toxins and bad bacteria. Bentonite is named after Fort Benton, Wyoming where its largest sources are found. It’s also known as montmorillonite clay which stems from the region of France called Montmorillon, where it was first found. When it is mixed with water a paste is formed which has been used both internally and externally.

Ginger, the “root” or the rhizome, of the plant Zingiber officinale, has been a popular spice and herbal medicine for thousands of years.
Ginger is a tropical plant with an aromatic underground stem (called a rhizome). Ginger is commonly used to treat various types of indigestion including stomach upsets, motion sickness, gas, nausea and vomiting.
The main compounds of ginger are the aromatic essential oils, anti-oxidants and the pungent oleo-resin. These active aromatic or pungent compounds have been identified as gingerols, shogaols and zingerone, and they provide most of the medicinal properties of ginger.
